During the final gasps of Leo Mercury in retrograde (September 1-4), it would serve you well to sit back and listen. Any communication you proffer at this time will get batted down like a cat toy, as the universe doesn’t feel like it’s your turn right now. Sit, wait, and receive; keep motion (short distance travel-motion as well as figurative) to a minimum, and remember to remain objective---the opposition with Leo Mars through the 5th makes it very tempting to argue. The waxing gibbous Moon in Aquarius (September 3-5) increases your penchant for cool detachment, which could be either helpful or infuriating depending on the situation. Once Mercury goes direct on September 5th, much of this advice still applies, but you’ll be at less risk for misunderstanding. With the opposition to Leo Venus running through September 19th, it would be a good time to revisit the importance of other people in your life. It’s necessary to see the value in your friends as they are, as well as how they define and reflect you back to yourself. Things lighten up a bit towards the end of the month when the Sun enters Libra and trines your Sun (September 23-30) along with Libra Jupiter. All the groundwork you’ve laid in valuing your peers will pay off now, and you’ll find yourself in the midst of some very pleasant times. The sextiles with Sagittarius Saturn and retrograde Aries Uranus enable you to change or break free of structures in a stimulating and constructive way. You will feel more original and dynamic without any of the chaos that sometimes accompanies such breakthroughs.
